The Lions Club in Armagh have successfully raised sufficient funding in 2005 to provide a fully adapted minibus for the use of the Station Road Resource Centre in Armagh. We have in the same way been able to present a donation of £15,000 to Marie Curie Cancer Care in 2006. Our Project for 2007 is to provide very necessary play and activity resources for the Lisanally Special School, Lisanally Lane, Armagh

One of our premier fund raising events each year is our Charter Night which generally takes the form of a black-tie Ball usually in late October early November. Effectively our Charter Night is our

birthday celebration marking the year we were founded or chartered. Our third Birthday was in 2006.We are acutely aware that without the support of the business and commercial sectors in the Armagh area in taking Tables at our Charter Night and supporting our auction and providing sponsorship we would not be able to support the charities and good causes that we do .
