Federation of Ireland, Guide Dogs for the Blind, Hearing dogs for
Deaf People, International Glaucoma Association, Medic Alert, Sight
Savers International and Tacade. Locally the Armagh Club has worked

In
the United Kingdom, Ireland and the rest of Europe Lions devote
5.7 million hours and £88million to humanitarian causes annually.
Importantly as a volunteer organisation we can make the guarantee
that every pound, euro or whatever currency raised goes directly
to charity. All administration costs are met by the members. It
is not a huge cost, currently members of the Armagh Club pay an
annual membership of £50 towards Local, National and International
administration.
The
Organisation is administered in Districts and Lions Clubs in Ireland
are part of Multiple District 105 which also includes the United
Kingdom. There are thirteen
Districts in Multiple District 105 and Irish Clubs are designated
as M.D.105I. Districts are further subdivided into Regions and Zones.
There are eight regions in Ireland and each region has three zones.
Armagh Lions Club is in Region 2 Zone B and has as its other clubs
in the Zone Cavan, Dundalk, Monaghan (our sponsoring Club) and Newry.
Armagh
Lions Club meet on the second and fourth Mondays in the month at
20.00hrs from June to September in The Armagh City Hotel. New members
and potential members are welcome to come along and see what we
do.
